Come as you are. As i want you to be.

how do u tell your manager that you wanna resign? Honestly.
especially when u actually LOVE & ADORE your workplace, your team-mates & your manager. No, i’m not being sarcastic. i really love my workplace and my jobscope.
i hate disappointing people especially when my manager kept harping on the new sponsorship project she wants me to handle etc and helping me fix an appointment with my MD next week to propose a commission plan for me (honestly she does not have to. marketing staffs mana lah dapat commission. but she felt it’s unfair i’m meeting my sales target each month but no commission plan) so i hate the thought of having to burst her bubble and tell her i wanna resign.
Tu word tak terkeluar dari tadi. I had been planning on telling her the entire week and today’s Friday and i have still not told her yet.
What the hell is wrong with me.
For someone so outspoken like me, benda kecik macam ni pun tak leh buat. sigh.
Seeing how these timeline love stories are getting berjangkit, here’s mine!
I have previously drafted one in About us. This is the extended version.
(like really really extended)
How we finally met:
This is a classic story of “If you are fated to be together, you will meet each other”.
We are of the same age and our schools are pretty nearby but i don’t think i have met him while i was in my teens although we do have a lot of mutual friends.
Early this year, we hopped on a place to Bandung with my family.
12 pax (including 1 baby and 2 toddles, please imagine the mayhem now!)
I didn’t particularly love Bandung, as in the city itself did not attract me as much as Bali. But i went a little crazy with shopping there. particularly at Pasar Baru and Rumah Mode. Next time, if i ever go there again, i’ll spend the entire day at Pasar Baru to borong kain and another day at Rumah Mode to get dirt cheap clothes.
Food was awesome too although i really wish i had time to go Kampung Daun but that’s ok!
Just a quick post because i’m up to the neck with work cos something really interesting is happening next week at work. It’s all hush-hush now and i honestly can’t wait for February to be over because i miss browsing blogs and shopping sites. Stealing a few minutes to cramp in a short review, an intro and some news.
If you have not heard, Charisma Bridal have recently launched their restaurant, Charisma D’Venue, this is also where they house their Bridal (at Second Floor).
Last 4th February was his 30th and because we just got back from Bandung, i figured we should just take an additional day leave and celebrate.
Nothing special, we did some errands with the in-laws and was still figuring out what to have for dinner.
We settled for Sakura Charcoal Grilled & Shabu Shabu cos we’ve never been there and they have just acquired their Halal Cert. So off we go to ther other side of Singapore. Like really the other side. Punya lah jauh…. Jin nak singgah pun malas.
nothing beats a girl night out on a Friday night, especially when you have known these girls for 17 years!
Catched up with my girls last Friday at Aquamarine @ Marina Mandarin Hotel for a much-needed gossip session. The night was filled with marriage jokes, advice, tips and plentiful of laughter. We headed to Nabins after that for drinks and continue our chit chat, where i mistook a guy wearing black for their staff (which is so embarassing)
Now, about the food, Aquamarine is not a bad place to have your buffet fix. I especially love their Cold cut selections especially their sashimi (oh i love sashimissss) But i just find that their tables are placed to close to each other, u can probably hear what your next door neighbour is talking about.
But i rate it below Carousel and above Asian Food Market of course and i have yet to try 1 Market but that’s for another day perhaps.
i find it weird when people decides to block you from their social media account, like they have something to hide.
Honestly, i couldn’t care much. I’m a little too old to play these stupid games. Not like your pictures were drool-worthy in the first place and i wouldn’t have noticed if a someone hadn’t pointed it out.
Stuff i post on my social media are mostly very insignificant. Anything too private would not even be on my FB and Instagram and one thing for sure, you’ll never catch me airing dirty laundry about my family and relationships. Neither will you see me professing undying love for my husband on FB cos i find it unnecessary. Nobody else needs to know nor measure the love we have for each other except ourselves and we prefer to keep it behind closed doors: 🙂
Ok not off to Penang, Malaysia per se but yesterday, after jamming, the mother-in-law told us she wanna drop by our place to lepak2 while my father-in-law go do some errands and i asked if she has any cravings and she mentioned Laksa Penang.
I love Laksa Penang! Not a fan of the Laksa Johor though.
In fact, i’m not a fan of most dishes that has santan in it.
So i googled for a Laksa Penang Recipe and found a reliable one.
Now, i love Laksa Penang but nak buat Laksa Penang, walaupun senang tapi part nak kopek ikan and hancur2 kan punya lah leceh.
2012 has been relatively good.
we got our kitchen done and put in all the finishing touch to the home.
although i do think a few more trips to IKEA would be awesome in 2013. hehe
We also had our 1st Iftar and Aidilfitri together in 2012.
We went to Bali for our 1st year Anniversary. That was our first trip, just husband & wife.
I was expecting us to squabble the entire trip. But it was surprisingly calm. Even though i had food poisoning, the husband handled me well. I’m not exactly pleasant to be with when i’m sick. heehee
