If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll notice that Nadya has her own Instagram account now! Follow her here  if you don’t mind seeing her again & again on your IG feed. Lol

I post different set of pictures on both accounts so you won’t see double!
I created an account for her cos i wanna share her pictures & videos but i don’t want her to take over my own instagram. Hahaha.

And i gotta admit, i’m that annoying mum who keeps posting her child’s photo. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Ok tak, aku tak melampau gitu. But yeah you get what i mean and not everybody wanna see updates of Nadya all the time. So creating an account for her allows my friends & family to choose whether they wanna see updates on her ke tak.

We’re also reviving her own label for Hari Raya. I put a stop to it for a few months cos i had no time to sew hairbands and all. But i managed to get a supplier to produce her first Hari Raya Collection!

2I’m currently waiting for new samples to be done before i start taking in orders. There will be two designs for Hari Raya  and this is one of them! This slit-arm kurung is really chic and comfortable cos ada lubang besar kat tangan so they don’t feel too warm in it!

I have another peplum design in a really nice & cooling material. The supplier sent me a picture of the sample earlier and it is so cute i cannot take it!! Lol

It’ll be a preorder cos i’ll be offering sizes from 0- 6 months up to 5-6 years old.
and there will be about 30 colours available for you to choose from! Unfortunately i won’t have anything for the boys. Maybe next time when i have a boy! Insha Allah!

To keep yourself updated of the Raya Collection, you can follow Nadya’s online store Here.
Cheyyyy Nadya’s online store padahal mak dia yang buat segala kerja.

Waterplay!

Aaaah the weather these days! I don’t even wanna start complaining cos there’s really nothing i can do about it anyway.

It’s the long weekend and my sister is getting married this weekend. So exciting!
But i’ll do a separate post on the wedding later once it’s done & over with. Haha

Since Rusly’s not working today, i have an extra helping hand at home and Nadya is always excited when her papa is at home cos that means an extra person she can play with and she’s refusing naps! Nadya still take at least 2 naps per day and if she don’t take any naps, she’ll be really cranky nanti.

So we did waterplay today. Hoping she’ll get tired and sleep immediately. It’s also fun lah to let her soak in the water cos it’s so hot! So this would definitely cool her down a bit!

DSC04488DSC04489DSC04493

She got so excited seeing that pool of water she wanted to jump right in.
Step macam pool tu besar gila.

DSC04592DSC04609DSC04610

So was my plan successful?
Duh.. of course. Flat terus budak tu macam swim 10 lap.

The Travel Tales

Tokyo Day 4: DISNEYLAND!!!!

Yes, over gila aku. Part Disneyland je kena capital letters, siap exclamation mark semua.
But that’s because Disneyland is indeed the happiest place on earth.
You can literally hear that “happy song” once you enter Disneyland that makes you wanna jalan henjut2 that kind. Not kidding.

IMG_7984

So i got the Disneyland tickets from JTB Singapore cos i didn’t wanna waste time queuing up for the ticket at Disneyland itself. It’s $88.00 for Adults & $58.00 for CHild (4-11yrs old). Free for anyone below 4!

We took a highway bus to Disneyland from JR Highway Bus Terminal which is few minutes away from our apartment at Shinjuku. It’s actually next to Takashimaya & Times Square. It’s not a huge place but you’ll know it’s a bus terminal. The journey took about 45mins and costs ¥820 (S$10.00) per adult. Bus is clean & comfortable. We even managed to take a nap! It’ll stop at Disneysea first. Disneyland is the last stop.

You can also go there by the subway but you gotta change stations and all. I seriously malas already so if you stay at Shinjuku, take this highway bus! U can just sleep in the bus, it’ll take u straight to heaven Disneyland. Be careful of the timing though. The last bus leaves at 9.50am.You can check out details on the bus here.

DSC04014

One of the Disneyland Staff was kind enough to ask if we would like to take pictures at the entrance. We didn’t even have to ask for help seh. Why are they so niceeee.

DSC04036

Plenty of space for her to roam around and she really roamed around tak kisah dunia. I had to keep chasing after her. -___-

DSC04049

We watched our 1st show for the day at Theatre Orleans. Minnie Oh Minnie!
I really wasn’t sure if Nadya would appreciate it but…

DSC04050DSC04051DSC04053… Nadya was smiling throughout the show. Really macam paham ni budak. Haha
So i’m guessing she enjoyed it too. So yes, never too young for Disneyland. Never too old either!

DSC04076DSC04081

We didn’t really take any rides cos Nadya is too young and to be honest, i’m too lazy to queue up and all.

Initially i was apprehensive on visiting Disneyland during winter cos it’ll be cold and all. But we arrived at about 11am, by then the sun is up so it was a nice weather. You have the sun shining bright but really cooling air. But we still bundled up cos it was still cold! At least 10-11 deg during the afternoons. But you’ll see some young Japanese girls ke hulu hilir kat Disneyland dengan skater skirt pendek. Me & Rusly macam nak diri depan dorang and salute je. Kulit apa sak pakai skirt pendek time winter.

And we argued whether they were wearing skin-coloured stockings or anything. I went so close to one of them and discovered that nope, no stockings. Confirm chop guarantee cos aku nampak bulu roma dia ternaik. Hahahaha.

DSC04110DSC04118DSC04152DSC04173DSC04184DSC04193DSC04205

The parade was obviously my favourite lah kan. I think i enjoyed it more than Nadya. Aku duduk depan. I left Nadya with her father. Yeeeehhhaaaaa.

DSC04232

Took few more pictures around Disneyland, bought churros, popcorns and ate at one of the diners. I think it was some seafood rice & fries. The fries is seriously sedap cos tengah sejuk2 makan fries panas2. Ya Allah nikmat dia. Padahal fries je. Airfry sendiri kat rumah pun boleh.

Oh can i also mention i love love love their Baby Room? We went to the Baby Room nearby Toontown and it is so pretty & clean. There were people there to help you to the changing station, lay the changing mat for you and all. They also have a place for you to feed meals to your baby. The whole atmosphere was just really nice. Oh and Rusly noticed another thing. I was the only mom changing diapers there. The rest of the changing station were occupied by the daddies!! I’m not kidding! The daddies there are quite hands-on! The mummies were outside, waiting for the daddies to be done. Rusly noticed that cos he felt out of place. HAHAHA.

IMG_8038

We shopped around for souvenirs and bought benda-benda merepek for Nadya (and me!) and left Disneyland at about 4.00pm so we could catch the 1st bus out which is at 4.10pm. I love Disneyland but it was really tiring. So we left early. We took the same bus, at Disneyland Bus Station and that picture above is Nadya interrupting some nenek-nenek nya conversation. tsk tsk.

IMG_8048

The view from the bus. It was so pretty. ❤

It was about 5.00pm when we reached Shinjuku. It was dark and we were tired so we wanted to get dinner and just rest.

So guess where did we go?

IMG_8063IMG_8069IMG_8071

Gyumon lagik lah!!! :p
Aaaaah so sedap. I miss Gyumon. I miss Tokyo. Sighhh.

IMG_8074

And that’s muka penat, tak sabar nak balik and get the damn heater on!

Shrimp Cakes Recipe

2016-03-07 12.15.22

So i’ve contemplated feeding shrimps / shellfish to Nadya since she turned 1 but i put it off again & again cos i’m scared of the allergy reaction she might have cos both me & Rusly have mild allergies to seafood.

Nadya loves her burgers & patties. So i thought Shrimp cakes would be nice for her to try!
It turned out to be so nice and sweet! I love it myself! Hahaha.

Here’s the recipe.

  • 250gm Shrimps. Minced / cut into smaller pieces.
  • 1/3 cup of Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 3/4 cup of Cooked Rice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 clove of garlic. Minced.
  • Chinese Parsley
  • a dash of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of Parmesan Cheese

Mix everything together & shape them. Pan-fry with VCO / Butter / Olive Oil.
You can take them out of the pan once the shrimps have turned orange and the shrimp cakes are slightly brown.

2016-03-07 11.54.47

If you’re not ready to feed shellfish to your child, you can also substitute it with Salmon / Chicken. It can be anything really.

2016-03-07 11.45.22

Just in case you don’t know, this is the Panko breadcrumbs. You can get it at major supermarkets.

This is quite filling cos there’s rice in it. It would also make for a great snack to bring out!

You can find all other #NadyaNomNomNom recipes here.

Oh so Mat!

Mat as in the floor mat, play mat, you know? Not the Mat & Minah kind of Mat. Heehee

So anyway, now that Nadya is full on eating, i’ve upgraded her to eating placemats!
Previously i either feed her myself from a bowl etc or if it’s something that she can feed herself, i just put it on her High Chair tray. We’re using the IKEA High Chair. It’s basic, cheap, light and easy to clean.

We initially bought another high chair but that damn thing was so heavy and such a hassle to move around. Cleaning up is also a hassle. The IKEA chair goes to the toilet after almost every messy meals and get hosed down and left to dry. I’ve got 1001 things to do so cleaning high chairs must be a chop chop affair.

Andddd back to the mat! We’ve used the mat since last October and that thing is good investment! We bought the EZPZ Mat from Mumspick during the last Baby Fair. It was about $70.00 for the regular Happy Mat and the Happy Bowl. That’s the promo price btw. The retail price is $48.00 for the Happy Bowl & $52.00 for the Happy Mat.  We’ve got a new addition to the family. The Mini Mat!

2016-02-22 11.00.37-1

This would be a good indication on the size. The Mini Mat is the only one that can fit the IKEA Chair properly. The others is slightly big and the suction might come out. But Nadya is usually too focused on eating that she didn’t even try to peel it off or something.

Here’s how they look like on the IKEA High Chair.

The Happy Mat

The Happy Bowl

The Mini Mat

2016-02-22 10.56.04 HDR

What i think about them individually:

The Happy Mat

  • It’s huge so i usually use this Nadya’s meal. I love the compartment as well so i can usually place her fruit together with her main meal.
  • It’s bigger than the IKEA Tray but the excess surface helped to catch some of Nadya’s food. So she made lesser mess now. Previously, all her food will drop drop drop like grapes seh.
  • The only thing i hate about it is it’s heavy & bulky so i can’t bring it out with me. Usually when we go out, i paste the disposable Winnie The Pooh Mat but nadya will peel them off all the time!

The Happy Bowl

  • This is perfect for porridge or rice with soup. The bowl’s depth is just nice! It’s not too deep that it’s hard for her to self-feed using a spoon. But it is deep enough to house her food and not spill when she tries to scoop food out.
  • Only thing i don’t like about the Happy Bowl is that there’s no place to place her fruits. So i’ll have to remove the bowl and then place her fruits on the tray or use the regular mat. So it’s more clean-up for me.

The Mini Mat

  • The size is perfect for the IKEA Tray, as mentioned and it is light!!
So bringing it out is easier. Just put in the bag it came with and throw it in the diaper bag. So now i don’t have to bring use the disposable placemat cos really nadya will just peel it off.
  • The small surface area means u can’t put much food in it. So i’ll use it for travel etc. Or for her tea time snacks at home.

2016-02-11 17.12.45

2016-02-17 16.06.10

This is how they look like with food on them! I have not taken any action shots with the Mini Mat. Maybe some other time.

Hope this can help you decide which one to get! I personally love all three.
Oh and another reason why i like them, there’s no sharp corners. All rounded corners.
So no chance for mould etc to settle in! Wooots!

Tokyo Day 3 (Mori Tower)

Right after our Mount Fuji day trip, we reached Tokyo Station at about 6+pm and then switched trains to Roppongi cos it’s only few stations away.

Firstly to have our dinner at Sumiyakiya, another halal place that serves Japanese & Korean BBQ.

IMG_7962

To be honest i only like some of the beef cuts, i can’t even remember which though..Sorry! The fried rice was okay lah.. The marinates for the beef was quite nice but if you ask me, i prefer Gyumon. Also, we got lost searching for this place pasal Google Map main2 kan kita. Padahal it was so so near to Roponggi Hills seh.
We jalan sampai the residential area and all. Penat seh. But thing about walking in Tokyo during winter, you don’t feel rimas cos it’s cooling. Jalan ah jauh2 pun tak rasa like mandi peluh. Rasa kaki nak tercabut je.

Then we head over to Mori Tower cos i wanted to see Tokyo skyline at night.
It was either during sunset or night lah actually tak cerewet. But because we couldn’t squeeze in Mori Tower for sunset, we went up at night instead. DSC03989

The rooftop observation deck is closed at night so we had to make do with the Tokyo City View deck which is also a gallery. Nadya had fun running around, kacau orang buat kerja & all.

DSC03985

It’s such a pretty sight. Tokyo is so vibrant at night and we got to see the Tokyo Tower all lighted up.

DSC03996

We headed back to the apartment after that after the long day! Took the taxi home cos the legs cannot take it already. Especially cos i babywore Nadya the entire day.

Will update our next Tokyo adventure soon. Else you can read up all other Tokyo posts here.

Tips & Tricks (Baby / Toddler Meals)

I’ve been wanting to do a post on this but as always, it remains in the darkest corner of my draft post for the longest time.

Now i’m not an expert on baby food, like urmm Annabel Karmel. But i’ve served food for Nadya for more than 6 months now and that ought to count for something eh?

My requirements for Nadya’s food:
* Homemade
* No salt
* No preservatives
* Must be appealing enough for me to eat as well.

So i end up cooking Nadya’s food myself all the time. Now i know some people might think it’s easy for me since i stay home all the time but it’s ok if you’re a FTWM. Just cook weekends or after u get home from office for their dinner. My meals for Nadya are usually quite simple. Very fuss-free and don’t take longer than 20 minutes usually.

The secret is actually simple.

  1. Plan ahead
  2. Buy vegetables that stay fresh longer
  3. Portion your poultry & vegetable into smaller packs.
  4. Buy Salt-Free Seasonings. (They’ll save your life.)

PLANNING AHEAD

Don’t laugh but i excel a meal plan for Nadya and for adult meals as well.

Meal Plan

No i’m not entirely OCD but i just like planning ahead and also it helps if you’re just starting solids for your child. Keep track of what they eat so that if any allergy reaction comes up, you can somehow pinpoint it to the food they ate. or if they are having constipation or their poo colour seems a bit off, you know it’s partly cos of the food they ate. That’s how i found out their poo, after they eat dragonfruit is unsightly guysssss.

STOCK UP ON THE VEGETABLES /  FOOD THAT LASTS FOREVER.

Also stock up on vegetables that are versatile. The kind that you can stir-fry, roast, boil or chuck it in the porridge. Takde hal bro. Semua boleh.

These are my favourite go-to vegetables/food to keep & use for Nadya’s meals.

  1. Carrots.
They last forever or at least till sogginess do us part.
Really versatile. You can put them in soups, porridge, stirfry, put them in fried rice, baked rice and i can go on and on. If your baby can eat fingerfood on their own, just coat them with Coconut Oil & Salt Free seasonings and let them munch on it.
  2. Potatoes.
Just as versatile as carrots. One of my current favourite thing to do with potatoes is to cut them in wedges, season them with salt free seasonings and then airfry them. Nadya can eat. I also can eat. I also like making potato patties, mashed potatoes or put them in porridge / soups.
  3. Eggs
You don’t know the many times these eggs saved my life. Eggs are really good for quick meals like French Toasts / Egg Muffins / Egg Banana Pancake. I swear i’ll write down the recipe for egg muffins one of these days. I just noticed i’ve not posted it up for #NadyaNomNomNom anywhere. Baaaah.
But back to eggs, you can make scramble eggs / omelettes and put them in sushi. or let them eat with rice. Else if you’re up for something nicer, do a Frittata! It’s one of our favourites!
  4. Chicken / Beef
I like them minced cos it’s easier for Nadya to eat and also cos you can do more dishes with it. Like Rice with Basil Chicken , Chicken Patties, Beef Balls & more.
  5. Brocolli
Just like Carrots & Potatoes, brocollis are quite fool proof and can stay long in the fridge. Most of the time i add them in patties or stirfry them with beef / chicken. I’ll throw them in porridge as well.
  6. Cheese
Everything tastes nicer with cheese. At least for Nadya.
You can make steamed cheesy rice or cheesy baked rice. Risotto as well if you’re a lil bit more adventurous. Sometimes i let Nadya snack on them. Especially cream cheese! Those are her favourites.
  7. Pasta
I’ve started giving Nadya full sized macaronis. No more cutting it into half and she’ll still chomp it down. So Pasta is now one of her staple dish. If you have excess home made pasta sauce, serve it with meatballs. Else just do a stirfry traffic light macaroni!

PORTION YOUR FOOD

Now this is something i’ve done since i’ve got married. Cos i always cook for two and i hate thawing a huge chunk of meat each time, i portion everything right after grocery shopping.

2016-02-22 14.14.19

I buy ziplock bags from SKP and portion them like this.

  1. It’s neater when you store them in the fridge (OCD alert!)
  2. They stay fresher longer cos u don’t thaw the entire thing, cut a bit and then freeze again.
  3. You can keep stock better. You know how many chicken / beef you have left before you start stocking up.

For Nadya, i portion them in smaller bag cos she don’t eat as much as we do anyway.
I also keep stuff like Pasta sauce that i’ve made in ice-cube trays. That way i can use them as & when i want without making a fresh new batch all the time.

BUY SALT-FREE SEASONINGS

2016-02-16 13.36.40

These are for lazy days. Period.
You can use them for anything! Marinate salmon / chicken fillet with them and then airfry them. You can season your patties with them. Stirfry your pastas with them. You can do so many things with them. Lazy? Just season and cook. They’re salt-free so they’re perfect for babies / toddlers.

2016-02-15 14.49.00

Just like this lazy-ass meal i made for Nadya. Hahahaha
I made rice balls for her, marinated the chicken fillet and she finished everything up. Don’t care as long got food.

So yeah, making meals for babies & toddlers are pretty simple actually. I’m all for giving them healthy food. Clean food especially. No unnecessary salt, sugar & preservatives needed. Sometimes i give her cheat days lah but most of the time she eats what i cook and you need to ask me for permission before you feed her anything. Thanks.

One is for health reason of course cos her organs are still developing so i don’t wanna ruin whatever is in there. Secondly, if i start giving her salt & sugar too early, she’ll reject the not so nice food, like vegetables. Oh the horrors! Mummy here loves her vegetables so she cannot refuse vegetables.

But this is my personal choice. What you feed your children is none of my business, really.

But i hope this list can help you to manage cooking for your babies & toddlers better! I’ve stopped listing down the #NadyaNomNomNom series monthly here in this blog but i still post them on Instagram & Facebook. You can follow us there instead.

Happy cooking!

Tokyo Day 3 (Mount Fuji)

Continuing my Tokyo Post. you can read previous posts here.

We woke up really early for this Day tour cos we gotta be at Keio Plaza Hotel by 8.30 am and we don’t want to be late and say bye bye to our money.

I bought the Mount Fuji & Hakone Day Tour package from Japanican.
We chose the package with a return trip via the bullet train (Shinkansen). It’s ¥16,000 (S$200.00) per pax so we paid S$400.00 in total for the package. It’s free for infants.
They have adjusted the price to ¥17,000 (S$211.00) now and you can also check out other tours organised by them here. They have a local office in Takashimaya Singapore but we only purchased the Disneyland tickets from them and purchased the Mt Fuji package online cos it’s cheaper by about $30+.

We took a cab to Keio Plaza Hotel even though it’s only 10 minutes walk away cos i didn’t wanna take the chance, get lost and then miss the bus.

There’s a convenience store at Keio Plaza so we bought some onigiri and stuff ourselves silly after we’ve reported our attendance.

IMG_7873

This budak kecik also kepo. Want to register people.

DSC03790DSC03794DSC03809DSC03812

Our 1st stop is Lake Kawaguchi. Apparently during Spring you can see Lavenders everywhere. Cos it’s winter, everything is dried up here. And you can actually see Mount Fuji here. It was quite early when we reached so there was a huge cloud shadowing the shy Mount Fuji.

DSC03826

They brought us to a Resort Theme Park area for lunch. We requested for Seafood & Vegetables only. Also confirmed that the broth is not meat-based. The lunch was ok ok lah. Asalkan kenyang cos i don’t think we got other options to eat somewhere else.

DSC03817DSC03818DSC03823The theme park looks quite cool ah actually. They have one of those crazy japanese roller coaster (that i will never queue up for!) hahahaha.

DSC03837

DSC03834

They brought us to another Mount Fuji viewing point and we could see the Mount Fuji but i can’t seem to capture it on camera. I don’t know why seh.

DSC03850DSC03852DSC03864

Our next destination is Lake Ashi where we took a Cruise Ferry. It’s a short ride but really peaceful surrounded by calm waters. The ferry also took us to the Ropeway Station.

You know i didn’t actually research how the Ropeway would look like. I thought it’s like the usual Cable Car we always take to go Genting Highlands. Turns out to be bigger and can fit at least 40-50 pax inside and it is so so stable. I couldn’t feel it swaying ke apa. Amazing.

DSC03881
DSC03890View from the Ropeway. The ride took about 7 minutes. Most of the trees had icicles on them. Too pretty. Macam cerita Frozen.

SNOW BLANKET EVERYWHERE!!!! *twirls around*

To be honest, i wasn’t expecting to see snow. I know it’ll be cold gila. And yes cold gila indeed at -18 deg. Brrrrr… But according to the tour guide, there were snowfalls 3 days before. I was freezing guys my face so stiff macam baru cocok botox but we were kinda prepared for it. Tampal heat packs & all. I just had to. It’s not just cold cold, but the wind was really cold as well. Anyway, i was reading on Mount Fuji and learned that climbing up Mount is only safe between July to August. It is deemed unsafe to go anytime other than those two months cos of the extreme weather conditions. It can be as low as -40 deg at night. There were also cases of people blown off the mountains by the strong wind. Scary shit mannnn.

I wrapped Nadya like a ketupat ok. So scared she’ll be too cold but member chill je. Cos i had her in the baby carrier so she was really warm & cosy in there.
There was another toddler up there and he was crying so hard due to the cold. I felt so bad for him and i resisted the urge to shake the mother and tell her to get her ass up back to the sheltered area cos her son was obviously too cold. Then there’s another angmoh couple, with a baby in a stroller up there. Relax je. Konon jalan2 kat shopping centre. Hahahaha.

IMG_7929IMG_7934

The sun was setting as we left Mount Fuji to take the Shinkansen! The tour guide brought us to the station itself and then he went to the ticketing office, got himself a pass and brought us to the platform and told us to wait for the next train to Tokyo!

I was really excited cos at that same time, a Shinkansen just drove past us and it was so fast lah!! It came & left the station in 7 seconds. I was recording it on my phone. That’s why i know. Hahahahaha

We didn’t take any pictures in Shinkansen cos we were so so tired seh. Panjat gunung and all. Lol.

But honestly it felt just like taking a normal train. No actually it is quieter than a normal train. Even quieter than our MRT. Just yesterday i took the MRT and i was thinking asal MRT ni bising sgt. Tak macam Shinkansen langsung. Ngada2. Sepak kang.

That’s the end of our Mount Fuji Day tour. Will continue Day 3 in the next post!

Our Little Family, The Travel Tales

Tokyo Day 2 (Asakusa)

We were supposed to head over to Disneyland on our 2nd Day but guess what.. we woke up late and by the time we went out of the apartment, it was about 9.45am. We went to Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal which is just next to Takashimaya Times Square and tried to get the direct bus to Disneyland. But their last bus was 9.50am.
-___-

I remember i jot that down somewhere but i forgot where. Kaoooo.
So yeah, we shifted our itinerary around and decided on heading to Asakusa instead!

We head down to Ippin Asakusa for lunch. Ippin is by Les Copaque, the same production company that produces Malaysia’s famous cartoon duo, Upin & Ipin. Hence the name Ippin, i think.

DSC03597

DSC03587

The Ramen is good! Love the broth.. It’s simple but hearty. It wasn’t very spicy but i was ok with it cos it didn’t spoil the taste of the broth. Rusly ordered a rice set with some fried chicken and the chicken is so lembut, omg i’ve never tasted chicken that lembut!

DSC03583

Turns out they only use this Kumamoto Chicken which is bred 2-3 times longer than normal chicken. It is really so lembut even the breast part, which is usually not our favourite cos it’s dry, is so sedap & lembut.

What made it even nicer was because Nadya slept through the entire lunch session. Hahaha. No attention seeking toddler to steal our food. I feel so bad for saying this. Hahahaha.

IMG_7606

My two sweethearts. Taken in Asakusa. ❤

DSC03624

We then head over to Sensoji temple which is few steps away from Asakusa Station.
There’s nothing much really. We end up walking through the Nakamise Shopping Street.

DSC03602

There’s mostly souvenirs. Lotsa them! We didn’t buy any souvenir though. But if you’re looking at buying stuff like paper fans, kimono etc, they sell it here and i think it’s cheaper here? I don’t know.

DSC03604
DSC03607

Bought ice cream! I know, i know. Ice cream during winter. But not bad uhhh. You’re already so cold, makan je lah.

DSC03647

We sat around and people watch and waited for the sun to set. It was beautiful.

Asakusa has this old charm vibes to it that i like. Yes, it’s not vibrant as Shibuya but Asakusa is worth a visit!

DSC03727

We headed back to Shibuya cos i wanna people watch again. This time at the famous Shibuya Crossing!

Took that shot from L’Occittane Cafe, just across the Shibuya Crossing!

I had the nicest Creme Brulee here. We went in with no expectations. I just wanted to sit down & watch the Shibuya Crossing. The other option would be Starbucks but since L’Occitane Cafe is something we don’t have here, i thought why not?!

After walking for abit at Shibuya, we head back to Shinjuku. I was looking for Shinjuku Sakae Sushi but after going round & round, turns out the place is no longer there. Sighhhhhh.

So after doing so many rounds, we settled down for the nearest sushi joint, Kizuna Sushi.

That Unagi is huge! We also ordered Grilled squid. Didn’t manage to take pictures of it cos it was so nice, we gobbled it fast and that fatty tuna is so yums.

We gave Nadya the Tamago (Egg). Look at that face. That Tamago ada happy pill agaknya.
Nadya mostly eat whatever we eat there. But no raw food of course.

We head back to our apartment after that after a long day.
