Finally writing about the Bali trip. I got really busy after the trip with all the sampul order & then Raya etc.
So we did a 1 week Bali trip in April and true to what I’ve previously planned, all we did was chill all day err day. I really really miss this trip cos we didn’t do much but spend lotsa time with the kids.
My dear Raees Nadym is 1 month old today & we shall celebrate it by publishing my Birth story which took exactly a month to pen down because so many things to say. So yeah, read it only when you’re free cos it’s super lengthy.

I was busy preparing for Nadya’s 3rd Birthday Party (will blog about this soon!). Cleaned up the whole house, did up the deco & all. We started from 10am and ended by 9pm. Ordered McD for dinner and was supposed to go to sleep early but I couldn’t sleep at all. I only managed about 1hr of sleep. I didn’t feel any pain etc but i just couldn’t sleep.

We finally did something productive for Nadya last Saturday. Productive cos i’ve been really tired so she has limited outdoor play unless her Papa is around.
First stop was the Baby Fair. We came at 1.00pm and left by 2.00pm. Not kidding seh. I knew exactly what i wanted so i zoomed in straight to the booths & chop2 purchased everything. To be honest, we didn’t get much. I got the Babysafe newborn essential set for $55 which is such a steal! Consists of the newborn pillow, bambeanie & mattress protector.
We also did bottle trade-ins for Comotomo. Nadya is still using Comotomo bottles so adik will also use them later cos I just love the bottles. They’re easy to wash cos of the wide opening & Nadya never got any colic etc from it when she was younger. So i’ll just stick with that brand.
I also borong the Pureen bottle cleanser cos that’s the only formula i like. (I hate the Pigeon one!) Also got boxes of the clothes detergent for babies. Nadya sekarang pakai normal detergent je. But of course for babies, i’m more careful cos they have delicate skin & all. Collected some preorders & left the place promptly to get my nutella-filled doughnuts!
Got these from YazKitchen & they were so good! Anything with nutella is good lah to me.
Since we were at the East area, i thought it’ll be nice to finally drop by The Artground! Wanted Nadya to explore the Down the Rabbit Hole art installation before they change it to another exhibition and they also had this Slime Attack workshop which i know Nadya would love cos she loves Crafty stuff like this! Anything that involves hands-on activities, she suka!
The place itself is not that huge but i like it cos there’s enough space for Nadya to run around without bumping into another kid. Everything is open-ended. It is up to the kids how they want to play & explore.
We went in for the workshop at 3.30pm and Nadya had fun, as expected. I didn’t expect her to actually sit down for the entire 30minutes though cos girl got short attention span. It has to be really really fun for her to sit through anything. She was also the youngest there. Lol
She had fun mixing the slime ingredients & watching it turn from liquid to this stretchy & squishy little thing. It was so worth it!
Admission to The Artground is free but the workshops are at $10/- for a parent-child pair and they have different workshops every weekend for different age groups. You can check out more details here.
We then head over to East Coast Park since it’s nearby.
She’s currently very into her skate-scooter and been scootering the whole house. Lol.
We need to bring her swimming very soon though. She kept asking to go swimming but i don’t know if i can still fit into my swimsuit. Hahahaa.
I slept through the entire journey home cos it was so tiring but i know Nadya had fun so it’s all worth it. Well, i had fun too actually but it would be even better if the weather was kinder. Lol

First day of Shawal is my favourite! Everyone in my family gets together and we’ll convoy together, eat lotsa good food, gossip2 & take lotsa pictures!

We end our Raya extra special this year. With the kids from Pertapis Children’s Home & Pertapis Women & Girl’s Home. It was so so emotional. I cried so many times but it also made me happy to see the kids happy. Wish i could share more pictures but i can’t release pictures with their faces on it so this would do!
Told you it’ll be filled with lotsa pictures but i don’t want to miss anything out. This Raya, sampai pikiran nak pakai baju apa lagi cos we only bought 3 sets. But we end up reusing last year’s baju & it all worked out fine!
It is also my 1st Raya wearing the hijab so it was also a hassle to match with my baju raya & all and while i’m more or less comfortable wearing it now, i still have my own #hijabproblems during Raya. Kuah tertumpah kat tudung jgn cakap k. Tudung aku leh buat world map sendiri.
I’m trying to get some posts out while i still can and this is long overdue, especially cos we just came back from KL again last week but thought i should document this 1st!
So if you don’t know me well enough, i adore Akim & The Majistret. I do not fangirl and i certainly do not follow celebrities like crazy unless they make really good music and i love A&TM music genre especially their newer songs. I remember listening to their songs every single night when i was pregnant with Nadya till i fall asleep. So of course i just gotta catch the concert in KL kan?
It took a lil bit of convincing for Rusly cos the concert is on a monday and children below 12yrs old are not allowed. The thought of leaving her with my parents for 4 days….urgggh. Don’t think i can ever do that.
So we proposed that my parents come along with us to KL and help us babysit Nadya on that monday. All expenses paid. Of course they said yes! lol. Problem solved!
Booked a 2 bedroom apartment through Airbnb cos it was more economical than booking 2 separate hotel rooms and also cos i think my parents would love it that they can play with Nadya all the time instead of waiting for me to bring her over to their room etc. It was the perfect arrangement. Nadya loves having them around. The apartment was perfect! Clean, modern and really close to KLCC where the concert was held.
We also managed to eat at Gyu Kaku just before they officially close down in April. Ahhhh my heart when i heard the news. It was our favourite place to go to whenever we’re in KL. 
Tried Chocoloco as well since it’s at Publika. Yums but pls share else it’ll get too muak. 
Also tried the Nasi Lemak at Kampung Baru. It was really mehhh.
Such a waste of time going there. Selamat dekat to where we were. We head over to Masjid India after that. Surprise surprise. Cos both of us actually paling tak suka go Masjid India. Hahahaha. But we kasi chance cos my parents love going to Masjid India.
We ate at A&W though! And bought Nadya this Pikachu balloon from the street vendor. Makes her so happy. I still remember that face. So yeah nevermind that she’s sitting in the middle of Masjid India and dancing to Bollywood songs and we’re all covered in sweats. Lol
Concert day! We had the evening out to ourselves. Had a dinner date at Dolly Dim Sum. So yums but now my favourite Dim Sum place is The Dim Sum Place, here in Singapore.
And the concert was amazing! It was better than i expected! ❤
I am even more convinced these bunch of guys are really talented and entertaining.
We sat 4 rows away from the stage, right smack in the middle so even though we weren’t allowed to take pictures or videos, i managed to take lotsa pictures & videos because i is so skillful.
That’s the end of the trip! We end up bringing more people & spending even more on this trip but everybody is happy! ❤
Yes melampau, siap ada (Day 1) because we went out for 3 consecutive days with her. No big party for her this year cos honestly too lazy to plan for one this year.

With her favourite boy! It’s so cute how she always demand attention from Rusly when he’s around. Nak pimpin, nak dukung, only with Papa. So endearing but also menyampah cos tetiba the mummy mcm invisible pulak. And yes, we were all dressed in black for her birthday. So HAPPY birthday eh? Lol
Nadya is 2! Can u believe it? Sometimes i also tak percaya. Especially when i re-read my IVF entries (nak revise homework! lol), macam still in disbelief it has been 3 years since i was actively TTC-ing! This girl dah 2 years pun. Alhamdulillah, really thankful that Allah blessed her with great health for 2 years because really that’s all i want for her.
So for Day 1, we kept it really simple, we brought her out to have Waffles & Ice Cream. Our favouriteee! Tried Two Plus One at Woodlands since we’re heading there to collect her Birthday Cake from my friend. Nice waffles & ice cream but quite pricey for a neighbourhood cafe.
Charcoal Waffles with Thai Milk Tea Ice Cream & Bubblegum Ice cream. No idea why that day i mcm terlebih adventurous. I’m usually very safe with my desserts. Most of the time it’s Chocolate / Caramel / Gula Melaka. That kind of safe.
This is Rusly’s safe Choc Chip Waffles with Hazelnut & Creme Brulee Ice Cream. I LOVE the Creme Brulee one seh. So sedap and i think the Choc Chip Waffles lagi sedap than the Charcoal one. Can u hear me silently cursing myself for being adventurous sangat?!
Ice Cream treat! i’m pretty relaxed about the food she takes, now that she’s 2. Last time, everything also cannot. Now, gasak kau lah nak. janji kau diam. hahaha. But u still need to tell me before u feed her anything please.
We head off to my mom’s place after collecting her birthday cake. Mom cooked Nasi Rawon for us. So sedap lah!

As expected, the cake cutting session was kecoh cos she couldn’t figure out how to blow the candles. Should have practised with her beforehand lah eh? So funny how she’ll auto sing Birthday song when she sees cakes though!
Gifts from her Uncles, Aunties & Grandparents! Gift unwrapping session pun so kecoh lah and she loves everything they got for her. It’s hilarious. Nadya is really blessed to have so many people who love her as much as we do!

The time has come!
We’ve finally decided to go for Cycle No 2! Actually we’ve talked about this previously. About wanting to try for No 2 when Nadya turns 2.
Nadya turned 2 on Saturday, 14th. NUH gave me an appointment yesterday, Monday the 16th. HAHAHA. Betul nya kasi chance nampak?
So anyway as i was saying, we did talk about trying for No 2 but for a while, i was a lil undecided about whether i really want No 2 or not. It was not a casual thought. It went on for months actually. Even when Polyclinic gave me the appt date, i was still thinking if i’m really sure about trying for No 2 cos it’ll be a fresh cycle all over again. This time round, with a toddler.
IVF No 1 was easy cos i don’t have to care for anyone except myself. Same goes for pregnancy No 1. I just buat hal sendiri and if i wanna wake up at 2.00pm everyday also can. But IVF No 2 & Insha Allah pregnancy no 2 would be a different ball game.
Then i realised i was overthinking things and i should just STFU and just go jer.
If Allah makes No 2 a reality, it means He wills it and He knows i’m capable of it. If He does not allow No 2 to happen, then maybe He knows i’m really not ready for it. Then i should just Redha. Partly, i’m also scared if No 2 does not happen as easily as No 1. Entah lah. But i’m at a better place right now and very sure that i want IVF Cycle No 2 to happen. Whether it results in baby No 2 or not, i’ll leave it in His hands.
So we went to Clinic G yesterday, informed the gynae i want to go for IVF No 2 and mentioned we want to start after the March School holidays because we’ll be going for a trip and we don’t want IVF to happen halfway. The gynae ordered a new round of blood test & sperm tests for us since the last time we did ours was more than 2 years ago and it has expired. She also advised me to try and lose some weight between now to March. So it’s time for me to start eating clean again!
So Rusly did his HIV Blood test yesterday. I only did some vaginal swab for Chlamydia test etc and have to wait for my next AF to arrive so i can do my Scan & Blood test to check on my ovarian reserves.
Results for the blood test will take about 6 weeks so i think we’re on track, Insha Allah.
Please keep us in your prayers. I’m so nervous for this cycle, God knows why.
I just hope it’ll be as smooth sailing as Cycle No 1. Insha Allah.
So we spent our New Year’s Eve at home building a cardboard playhouse from scratch for Nadya! Initially i wanted to use several medium sized boxes from Fedex and stack them up etc but Rusly found a huge box from our last fridge purchase in our storeroom and it was perfect!
My only regret, tak sempat nak document the entire process of making this.
But we created the roof successfuly, taped it up and tutup with mahjong paper before creating the door & windows.
I then did a quick run to BPP to buy spray paints. Got 2 cans in Pink and 1 can in Blue. It was just enough!
Also chose Spray paints over painting cos it’s much easier and we don’t have to wait too long for it to dry completely.
I then made a Mail box, decorated the door & windows by pasting white paper on it. Also made picket fences because too cute!!!
So this is how her new play area looks like. She really love the house. It’s where she keep all her soft toys and yesterday i caught her sleeping inside the house with all her toy friends. So adorable!
So last weekend marks the end of our Raya celebration for 2016! It has been exhausting! The first two weeks were spent going around relatives houses.
We wore last year’s baju! Nadya can still fit in her 6-month old dress. It’s a perfect fit! My baju was ketat though. Malas lah eh nak cakap. Lol.
We hosted some of Nadya’s friends over at our place! It was so fun but honestly so chaotic as well! Hahahaha. So many kids all over the place. mana yang terpekik, yang nangis, yang gaduh. Lol . But kids are kids ah. Janji they’re not in a compromising situation, gasak korang lahhh.
Last Friday was the gathering for the HK girls. It’s our yearly routine. No matter how busy, we’ll meet up for Raya at someone’s house so we can just spend the whole time there instead of moving from one place to another.

The next day, we went over to Farhana’s place to meet up with the bloggirls and their babies! Ermahgerddddd so many cutie patooties, my ovaries can’t handle it. Hahahaha
The following day, right after my sister’s wedding, we went to the final Open house invitation at Hosni & Nini’s place with the Terminal Cry family.
And that’s it for this year Raya! All baju kurung dah nak kena ziplock somewhere already!
Said it before and i’m gonna say it again. Raya this year was exhausting but fun. All because of Nadya! ❤
Selamat Hari Raya!
Wanted to draft this much much earlier but i was caught up with work & also trying to chillax a bit and catch up drama serials.
This Raya is our 2nd Raya with Nadya! Her 1st Raya, she was only 6mths old and it was easy peasy cos she was still in that sleepy stage. This year Raya is a circus! Hahaha
Now that Nadya can walk & move around on her own, we’ve decided not to hias the house so much. We left the cookie jar on the dining table and kept away the coffee table away.
Even then, she’ll panjat the chairs and try and reach for the cookies. Her favourites are the choc chip ones and honey cornflakes. Sometimes we’ll both sit on the couch, watch TV and eat the cookies from the cookie jar. hee
We wore Black for the 1st day and i love the baju kurung that Nadya wore! We got it from a Malaysian designer cos i forgot to make one for her in Black. Wthhhh.
Raya this year was quite disorientated for me cos of the Sampul Raya & Dear Raessa Raya collection which went well despite some hiccups! But yes, everything also last minute. I bought kuih from some random makcik stall 2 days before Raya because i forgot to order from the usual kakak. I miss her Cornflakes cookies seh!
Even Nadya’s baju raya was mostly the samples i made for Dear Raessa.
Then i see whichever yang fit her and also check Rusly’s baju raya inventory and then buy something that i can match. Jadilah kan.
I love how comfortable this Maroon Kurung is! So easy to move and by the 2nd Shawal, pretty obvious i tak kuasa to wear heels and wore my Fit Flops. I swear that thing is used to death.
It is not funny ok to try and run after your toddler with heels.
But at least this year we made do without a Diaper Bag besar nak mampos macam nak balik kampung. Last year we had to bring her milk formulas and lotsa diapers. Extra clothes lah, rattles lah. Eh macam khazanah lah.
Now that she’s on Fresh Milk Feed and she don’t ask for milk that much, we just buy Meiji Fresh Milk outside and serve it to her with a straw. So the only thing we bring are her diapers, wetwipes & waterbottle. Usually can fit in my own bag ah. Else i’ll get Rusly to bring the Jujube Quick. Lol.

We’ll have another new family member next year cos my youngest sister is getting married next week! Actually ahhh… I think i haven’t even blogged about my 2nd sister wedding pun.
So many things to blog & document but no time!
