Selamat Hari Raya!
Our 1st time Raya with Nadya and it was fun! OK let’s be honest, it was slightly nerve-wrecking as well but the fun and joy outweighs everything!
My eve of Raya was spent cooking a storm in the kitchen. Spent a total of 9 hours cos i was the only one doing it. Boohoo. But so satisfying to eat your home-cooked Raya dish! Even brought it over to my father-in-law’s place and spent Malam Raya there. Was overwhelmed with sadness cos i miss my mother-in-law and kept staring at the seat she used to occupy. She would have love the sambal goreng the most.
Managed to design, print, cut & seal up these money packets at the very last minute and got Rusly to go to the bank on Raya Eve to change smaller notes. Totally forgot about this seh! Lucky masih ada notes. Not new notes but recycled notes but gasak lah. Janji budak2 dapat duit. Dia tak kisah note tu bau kedai ke tak.
So so cute to see budak2 so excited over the sampuls! I use to design ermm something nice in my eyes only, but not interesting enough for them kids. So decided to do something they’ll appreciate this time round!
My favourite picture of Nadya this Raya because she always always stare at me like this butĀ i’ve never managed to capture this no matter how i tried but i was quick enough this time round. I LOVE IT when she give me this face. Usually when she hear me talking to someone / singing / coughing. Hahahaha.
First stop is my in-laws place. So sad to see the family picture with lesser people in it. So many things going on in Rusly’s family, it’s not even funny. I just hope one day, everything will be back to normal. Insha Allah.
Nadya and her Atok. Currently Atok’s favourite picture. He want me to blow this up to poster size. LOL
We then head over to my mum’s place next where all my siblings are waiting!
My huge family. Getting bigger every year!
As usual, we then head out to the 2 must go houses. My nenek and Abah’s eldest sister house!
Our ootd for Raya Day 1!
Yes, maknya masih nak pakai handbag. Bapaknya bawak diaper bag. Thanks. I skipped the heels though cos i know it’ll be tough! Although i should just wear it lah since kita drive and just need to walk from carpark to the houses.
We skipped Raya Day 2 cos we wanted Nadya to go back to her usual routine. She didn’t even take naps during the 1st day and it must have been really tiring for her at the end of it cos she started to get quite cranky. Raya Day 2 was spent cleaning up the nursery and revamping it. More on it on a later post!
Raya Day 3 was spent with my family, we covered houses at the East area next to get it done & over with cos most of my relatives are west-siders.
Our ootd for Day 3. I babywear Nadya and it was a good choice cos she managed to take naps in between and she wasn’t cranky at all even though she was in baju kurung. Lol
We’ll continue again next week with more Open Houses invitations!
With this, Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir Batin to friends & readers.
Hope you had a good Raya!

If you want print them, print on at least 120gsm – 150gsm Art Paper. There’s a slight sheen to it. š
