Last week we went to Turi beach, batam and had a splendid time!
Firstly, cos it’s on weekdays. So there’s literally no crowd.
By that, i mean really no crowd. we were the only ones in the ferry! Feeling-feeling ferry sendiri!
Granted we took the Ferry from Tanah Merah because we are heading towards Nongsa instead of Batam Centre.
I Like Tanah merah because there’s not much crowd, save for those going to Bintan. Other than that, Immigration situ goyang kaki.
It was a smooth 35min ride. We managed to catch a wink and woke up to another island. Awesome.
Nongsa Immigration pun senyap, unlike the hustle bustle at Batam Centre.
We got picked up by the Shuttle Bus to Turi Beach, which is just a 10mins bus ride away.
Turi Beach resort is really secluded. From the guesthouse to the lobby, there is no way you can walk, especially at night!
but i love the peace & serenity it came with and to be honest, it felt exactly like that time we went to Beyond Resort at Krabi.
Check-in was swift. We managed to get a room upon early check-in cos there’s errr not much guests? LOL
No free wifi so we took a Daily WIFI package at S$20. Not worth it honestly cos we were not in the room most of the time.
We then book a taxi to go to Nagoya Hills to have our lunch, massage and get some toiletries.
I know we have Ayam Penyet Ria here in SG but in Batam, i just can’t resist having one!
The chicken is noticeable smaller than our injected ones. But the sambal is super syiok!
The obligatory A&W Waffles when we are at Batam!
We went for a Massage at Eska just in front Nagoya Hills. Honestly, the massage was quite painful. Not a good experience at all.
I’m not a Massage snob. I’m not the kind who would only step in a swanky Massage spa but i’m always okay with going to a shophouse one pun cos sometimes, you will see a hidden gem. In fact one of the best massage i had in my entire life was at Shophouse Massage Spa in Manila!
We spent about 4 hours at Nagoya area before heading off back to Turi Beach Resort.
Our simple wood-theme room. It is quite spacious. Air-con working well and it was clean. Maybe because it’s the newer wing.
A cute little balcony overlooking the pool.
I love the huge shower area. Like really huge. There’s no bathtub but i don’t mind that much cos it’s an overnight stay anyway but the toilet gets flooded. I think it’s just how the flooring was done lah. So that was the most annoying part of the room.
Our splendid view from the room! We got the view of the Emerald pool and the beach.
The pool is of an awesome size and temperature.
We went for a shirt dip in the pool before we head off to dinner.
After much research, almost everyone recommended Rezeki Seafood if you’re at Nongsa area and i concur!
Rezeki Seafood is Kelong-style, something you don’t see often in Singapore.
We ordered these few with Vege and the bill only came up to S$36.00. Whaaaaat!
If you ask me, if i enjoyed this trip, yes i did. We paid only $99.00 per pax thru Deal.
It is quite a good deal honestly cos it includes Accomodation & Ferry Trips.
Will definitely be coming back soon! The only place in Batam i wouldn’t mind staying for 3D2N actually 🙂
Best kan? I really love Turi Beach Resort just to rest and relax.
ooooh yes it is! Although it can get a little creepy at night. but i like! hahahaha
Hey.. awesomeness!!! i would consider this for my honeymoon !! Georgous view!!
yes yes kalau u nak rest & relax this would be a good place in batam!
Hi, I will be going to Turi in 2 weeks’ time too.. Just wanna check how did you travel to&fro Nagoya Hills-Turi and to&fro Rezeki-Turi??
Looking forward to your reply.. Thanks!
Hello!
We got the hotel to get someone to drive us there. .Can’t remember how much we paid but definitely have to take car cos it’s about 10 mins drive away.
U can ask the front service if anyone is also going to rezeki then can share the car. Cos it’ll be cheaper.
Ok great.. Thanks for the reply 😀
